A furnace almost always fails on the coldest night. We’ve kept Lancaster County homes warm since 1961, and when your heat goes out we do the same thing we’d do at our own house — get there, find the real problem, and tell you straight what it needs.
We find the real problem
No heat can come from a lot of places — ignition, the blower, a bad sensor, a safety switch doing its job. We diagnose the furnace properly before we quote, so you’re paying to fix the actual fault, not to swap parts and hope it holds.
Honest repair vs. replace
If your furnace is sound and the fix is reasonable, we repair it and you’re back to warm. If it’s aging out, breaking down every winter, or showing a safety issue, we’ll tell you plainly that replacing it may serve you better. We won’t push a new unit you don’t need.
Questions we hear a lot
My furnace won't turn on — what should I check first?
Start with the simple stuff: thermostat set to heat, the furnace switch on, a fresh filter, and the breaker. If it still won't fire, call us. We'll find the cause instead of guessing at it.
How do I know if I need a repair or a new furnace?
If the fix is small and the furnace has good years left, we repair it. If it's old, unsafe, or costing you a call every winter, we'll walk you through the honest math on replacing it.
